THE 3^rd EDITION IS EVEN RICHER AND WITH A GREAT NOVELTY

We reached the third edition with considerable success at a national and international level and we are ready for the new The Land Of Olive Oil 2013, the oil of excellence of the year guide, bound up with the beauty of its production area. With this tool we want to work alongside the manufacturer to disclose the preciousness of extra virgin olive oil, to arouse curiosity and lead the consumer to first recognize and then choose a good oil from a good olive grove with an healthy and cared chain.

Hence the idea to select farms that have, within their structure, accommodation facilities to house Italian and foreigner travellers ready to live unforgettable moments. Olive-growing farms that do not have availability for accommodation, but that are serious producers who have been creating great oil for years, will be included in the guide pointing out the best nearby accommodation facilities. And thanks to its credibility and rising interest, this third year of working together has also in store a big novelty: the on-line guide becomes a book where the usual oil assessments and presentations of individual companies will be combined with news and tips on local culture (art/food/traditions) according to our precise idea that, today, a quality product should be disclosed even through the values ​​of the area from which it comes.

A book on olive oil of excellence and its territorial values ​​will be distributed to local farmswho requests it and sold in Italian bookshops and on-line (Amazon.it, Amazon.com, Feltrinelli.it, Inmondadori.it, Ibs.it…) in order to bring the “taste” of your oil and the charm of your territories outside the small circle of connoisseurs.

Cinquesensi will publish it: it is a fine Tuscan publishing house, specialized in making art and travel books, which will also edit an English edition. The book will be officially presented at Extra-Lucca, to be held in Lucca in the beautiful surroundings of Villa Bottini from the 15^th to the 17^th of February 2013, and in other subsequent events; this will be communicated to the press, linked to a blog and a Facebook page where each of you will have the chance to express your opinion.
